Euro screws are made specially for fitting drawer runners onto composite materials such as MDF and Particle board. The head is 7.6mm diameter and thread is 6.1mm diameter but they are only 9.5mm long making them suitable for 10mm boards. In reality it is a #14 gauge screw with a #7 gauge head but without a sharp point. It is necessary to pre-drill with a 5mm drill. The finish is Zinc Plated.
